It\u2019s infiltrated nearly every aspect of our lives, including our jobs. The changes associated with AI in recruitment, job creation and job transformation will affect almost every worker in the UK, but how it will impact them varies considerably.<\/p><p>Are the robots here to take our jobs? In most cases, the answer is still no. (Or at least not yet.) In fact, generative AI is actually driving the creation of new positions at many companies. But the elimination and creation of jobs aren\u2019t the only way generative AI affects employment. A growing number of hiring teams are embracing AI to streamline their processes, and reports of AI-driven dismissals are becoming increasingly common.<\/p><p>Maybe the robots aren\u2019t here to replace us at work \u2014 they\u2019re just the ones who decide who works and who doesn\u2019t.<\/p><p>We\u2019re taking a closer look at AI and recruitment, from upskilling to downsizing. How will AI affect jobs in the UK? These are jobs where generative AI can perform at least 80% of the necessary tasks competently.
